Josephine Zara-Director. At 12 years old she studied acting with Eugen Bahn at Wayne State University. In high school in Switzerland she was part of the French language junior Comedie Francaise troupe. After graduating from the Northwestern Univ. theater program she moved to New York studying with Uta Hagen at the Herbert Berghof Studios. Later she later worked for 7 years at Wayne State medical school writing scripts and training actors in the Simulated Patient Program. Josephine and Harriett Mittelberger founded the Readers’ Theater in 2011.
