
The Drawer Boy

Our first play of the season, directed by GAP newcomer Tom Webb, will be THE DRAWER BOY – a two-act Canadian play written by Michael Healey. It is set in 1972 on a farm in Ontario. The characters include two war veteran bachelor farmers and a young student doing research for a play about farming. A narrator will set the pace and provide background. The play is about the power of storytelling in creating and interpreting reality and how it can transform lives. It has won a number of awards in Canada and the US and been performed in London.
